The Internet has an incredible amount of information and not all of it is genuine. We all hear about fake news, but how does it actually affect us?

Alternative news sources and fake news can be exploited by extremist groups for radicalization purposes or can contribute to self-radicalization. We have become “active” agents when gathering information. But then, we also risk of falling for false or inaccurate information, which are not filtered by trustworthy agencies.
